Ballad of a Soldier
(1959)Ballada o soldate 1959
This road story, set in the years of the war, with a humanist approach, in a plain and touching language, tells the story of the longing of the Russian people among the ruins of the war. We find ourselves in the movie in the first frames of the movie. trenches pierced by tanks. With his escape, a chase begins in empty trenches and a little determination knocks down two tanks, as we become witnesses to the heroic tale of the survivor Alyosha. On the journey of a 19-year-old Russian soldier to reach his mother, we will encounter the terrible face of war, accompanied by human scenes. We will forget the war in the romantic moments of the two young people who noticed the smile that suddenly appeared on our faces in the timidity of Shura, who continued on his way with Alyosha. Knowing that the war will not forget us. (I really liked the 2003 movie The Return.) Before watching The Ballad of a Soldier, I thought I'd come up with a propaganda game. He would fearlessly glorify the Russian soldiers who fell to their homeland, and the voice that rose after the proclamation of the Communist Manifesto would also be the proletarian proletariat. Instead, I warmly followed a road story that could compete with his contemporary work. I must say that this film is the first cinematic attempt of two young actors in the lead roles. Basically, you will find two people from the film rather than a masterful performance. the audience, they are not fake, they are not trying to be great actors. I don't think the director made such a request when the western classic shot at that time was trying to make love and a woman fell in love with another beautiful woman. In this Russian classic, we watch loving glances and sincere hugs in simplicity. Kuzeydebier - TP editor
