Chinatown 1974

Former police officer Jake Gittes works as a private detective. His wife, Evelyn, hired him to follow up with Hollis E. Mulwray, who is in charge of water management in Los Angeles. Evelyn thinks her husband is cheating on her. Initiating the chase, Jake will actually see that Hollis is with another woman. However, events do not develop as expected. Hollis is mysteriously killed. Although Jake tries to let the event go, he falls into a nightmare. Things get even more complicated when Evelyn realizes that the woman she thought was not Hollis' real wife.
