CIA agent Jack Ryan finds himself in the middle of a power struggle with a drug cartel when one of the president's old friends is murdered. Due to the sudden illness of its President, Admiral James Greer, Jack is appointed acting director of the CIA. The President's men ignore Congress and urge him to take action against the drug cartel, but things get messy and Jack is raised from the dead several times and many of his friends are murdered. Determined to put an end to this incident at all costs, Jack vowed to bring the criminal to justice.
