Leading rescue missions in the Dolomite mountains, Gabe Walker and his crew have repeatedly rescued trapped people. An unfortunate event occurs during their last rescue mission, and Gabe, unable to get over the shock of this incident, decides to leave town. When he comes back months later to collect his belongings, he cannot ignore the call for help received from the radio signals coming to the rescue center...
