Days of Heaven 1978

Heavy industry workers Bill and Abby head south in search of better jobs. They also have Linda, whom they see as their godbrother. Bill and Abby, who say they are brothers, start working as seasonal workers on a large farm. Knowing the landlord's feelings for Abby and accidentally learning that she is terminally ill, Bill thinks he's found a way to get rich. In fact, Abby, who stays on the farm pretending to be a sister and then marries the landlord, starts to get stuck between Bill and his wife after a while. Bill, who is in love with Abby, will feel awkward in this marriage day by day and will take odd jobs.
