Based on Frederick Nott's play, Dial M for Murder was directed by Alfred Hitchcock, a master of suspense and crime films. The leading roles are Oscar-winning British actor Ray Milland, actress Grace Kelly, who died in a car accident in 1982, American actor Robert Cummings, who died in 1990, and actor John Williams. The movie was also remade as A Perfect Murder. Tony Wendis and Margot Mary Wendis are a married couple. The relationship of the couple, who draws a happy and peaceful profile on the outside, is surrounded by doubt and is at its core. Cheating on her husband Tony with her writer friend Mark Holliday, the girl discovers that her lover's letters have disappeared. The events that develop when the person who receives the letters blackmails them is part of a conspiracy that even the devil cannot think of. Aware of the forbidden love between his wife Margot and Mark, Tony begins his journey by involving his old friend Charles Alexander Swann in his sinister plan. After sending Margot and Mark to the movies, Tony invites Charles home and begins to explain his plan. The plan also includes his wife, love letters and large sums of money. But unfortunately, many born geniuses are far superior to Tony Wendis.
