Game of Death
(1978)Game of Death 1978
This movie was produced by Bruce Lee after his most famous movie, Enter the Dragon, which he worked on in a long time in Hollywood. However, Game of Death was unfortunately left unfinished due to his death, and then the director, who took over the job, played with the script and sometimes completed the movie as a stuntman, using Lee's cardboard mask in the scenes with Bruce Lee. So this movie was shot in 1973 and was completed with a backing stunt due to Bruce Lee's death during the movie and didn't come out until 1978. As a result, The Game of Death is far from being Bruce Lee's original work, which he developed by writing down every detail in his notebook and finished under the pressure of the studio. Before his death, Bruce Lee managed to shoot around 100 minutes for the film, most of which consisted of unusable scenes. However, the other side of the business; Directed by Lee, this episode also featured fight scenes in a 5-story temple with different fighting style experts on each floor. However, only the last three floors of the insatiable lineage of this 5-story temple could be used. Especially in the fight with Kerim Abdul Jabbar (who is Lee's student), the fight sequence shown after the duo contains scenes that are hard to believe as they are said to be fighting especially slowly so that the camera can follow the moves. Since the 2.20 m tall man was almost a leg, he fought the tall Lee who first saw it.
