Gentlemen Prefer Blondes 1953

Lorelei and Dorothy; These are two beautiful young girls from the country. These two young lounge singers went to Paris on a huge transatlantic ship. Of course, many rich men in the Atlantic are after these "materialistic" girls. It was first a novel, then adapted for the stage and eventually made into a feature film by Howard Hawks. A successful musical movie? Pay particular attention to Monroe's song "Diamonds are a girl's best friend."
