Alonzo Hawk is a ruthless businessman who plans to buy all the houses in the area and build a large supermarket. Although most of them buy the house, he finds one of the owners, Mrs. Steinmetz. Miss Steinmetz doesn't want to sell her house to Hawke. But Hawke should own this house according to his plan, and he plans to do so no matter what. As he plots, the clever and talented Volkswagen Miss Herbie comes to Steinmetz's aid.
