This is a screen adaptation of Shakespeare's tragedy with a large cast; Its subject is the murder of Julius Caesar, a conspiracy organization against Julius Caesar, the last great commander of the Roman Republic, whose dictatorship was recognized by the Roman Senate. as a result of the very serious consequences of this conspiracy and this political assassination. Director Mankiewicz created a masterpiece by filming line by line with Marlon Brando as Antony, James Mason as Brutus, John Gielgud as Cassius and Louis Calhern as Caesar. The film won Oscars for best art direction and set design in 1953.
