Acclaimed director Martin Scorsese teams up with Oscar winners Liza Minnelli and Robert De Niro to create a great musical about the glamorous big band era at The Big Apple. Jimmy is a fast-talking saxophonist on his way to fame. Francine, on the other hand, is a shy girl who dreams of singing in the spotlight one day.
