Successful medical student and hospital assistant Dan lives a wonderful life with the dean's daughter, Megan. One day, a housemate named Herbert West became interested in the publication. West is a peculiar Swiss scientist who experiments with the resurrection of the dead. Dan welcomes West into his home and lets the man experiment in his basement. Experimenting with Megan on her dead cats, West needs larger objects. Impressed by West's work, Dan doesn't know what will happen to him when he agrees to help.
