This romantic comedy is adapted from Samuel Taylor's play and stars Audrey Hepburn as the character Sabrina. Sabrina is the daughter of the chauffeur Fairchild in the wealthy Larabee family. Growing up as a secret witness to the family's extravagant parties, she develops a platonic love for the family's playboy youngest son, David.
When Sabrina is sent to Paris by her father, she hopes to break free from her obsession with David and become a famous chef. Two years later, Sabrina returns as an enchanting and fashionable lady, filled with life and pleasures. Her captivating grace immediately captivates David, who has been divorced three times.
However, David's father and brother, Linus, have made new business plans and arranged a corporate marriage for David with another woman. Therefore, David's relationship with Sabrina is deemed unacceptable. Linus takes action to resolve the situation. He temporarily incapacitates David and flirts with Sabrina to distract her attention. However, Linus finds himself becoming the one who is distracted by Sabrina's charm and sparkle.
