Seven Brides for Seven Brothers 1954

The lives of Pontipi men are changed dramatically when their brother Adam brings his newly married wife to the cabin where he lives with his siblings. In fact, they are so overwhelmed by this situation that single brothers go to town and kidnap the girls they like in order to find a wife! Everything falls into place with the Oscar-winning Gene de Paul/Johnny Mercer song and Michael Kidd's choreography in this delightful musical directed by Stanley Donen. Starring Jane Powell and Howard Keel, male dancers dressed in chamois and introverted female dancers accompany them.
