The German army, which started to withdraw from Europe in the last years of the Second World War, has only one Remagen bridge in its hands to withdraw its forces, but Stavka wants the bridge to be blown up as soon as possible. The commander in charge of the bridge is faced with a dilemma: get past the retreating soldiers and blow up the bridge. Meanwhile, the allied forces plan to seize the bridge intact and move their forces comfortably into enemy territory. The bridge is the arena of an unprecedented battle.
