Die Falscher - The Counterfeiters 2007 Film Inspired by a true event, this film chronicles the largest counterfeiting operation of the German Nazi Party in 1936. The action takes place during the Second World War. One of the tricks played by the racist Nazis in order to be the sole winner of the war is to sink the economies of other countries by printing counterfeit money. A special group has been created for this process. They include Salomon "Sally" Sorovich (Karl Markovich), who is very good at crafts and forgeries. Despite their escape from poverty, their situation worries them and clashes with their conscience.
