Keith Carradine is a skilled cavalryman in Napoleonic France. Harvey Keitel is another crazy horseman who challenges those who talk (and those who don't) nonsense to a duel like a rabid dog. The day after the duel, Carradine is tasked with conveying the general's order to Keitel; Thus begins a struggle that will last for years. They cannot kill each other. Carradine doesn't really care, but as she progresses and sees her career, Keitel suddenly appears in the most unexpected places and challenges her to a duel.
