The movie "The Spider and the Girl" tells the story of a roommate on the verge of separation. Lisa and Mara are roommates. But her roommate is about to die when Lisa decides to live alone. While Lisa was ready to start a new life, Mara was not ready for change. This process created tension between fellow friends Lisa and Mara. The relationship between the two friends becomes even more strained when Lisa's mother, mentor, neighbor and silent member of the house, Spider, steps in.
