The Hindenburg
(1975)The Hindenburg 1975
The ropes connecting the giant silver hull of the Hindenburg airship to the ground unravel before takeoff. My destination is America. The calendars show May 3, 1937. The Hindenburg is slowly starting to get off the ground. It says LZ 129. This is the 129th airship ever built. It is the largest airship ever built and is 250 meters long. Their engines start to spin loudly at the same time. The projectors continue to illuminate her silvery body from the ground until she disappears into the twilight. Then everything closed. Airport workers went to their rooms to sit back until the next flight. Hindenburg is going to America. Everyone trusts the airship "Hindenburg", the most modern technology and the most magnificent vehicle of the period. But no one knows that a major accident that will end the golden age of airships is only two days away. (quotation)
