The Hunting Party
(2007)The Hunting Party 2007
War reporter Simon Hunt (Richard Gere) and cameraman Duck (Terrence Howard) have served in the world's most dangerous war zones, from Bosnia to Iraq, from Somalia to El Salvador. Trying to avoid bullets, they wrote the most accurate news and received many journalism awards. Everything changes in an instant on that glorious day they serve in a Bosnian village. During a live broadcast on national television, Simon's fall begins. As Simon's high-profile career comes to an end, Dak's rise continues and they part ways. Five years later, Dak returns to Sarajevo to attend the celebrations of the fifth anniversary of the end of the war. He is accompanied by a young journalist, Benjamin (Jesse Eisenberg). Simon comes up with a very specific idea, almost like a ghost from the past. He manages to convince Duck that he knows where the world's most wanted war criminal "Fox" is hiding. Armed with superficial information, Simon, Duck and Benjamin will focus on a dark and dangerous mission that will take them into regions of deep hostility. They face the biggest goal of their lives, but will they live to make the news?
