The Man Who Knew Too Much
(1956)The Man Who Knew Too Much 1956
American tourists James Stewart and Doris Day witness the murder of a French friend they met on vacation in Africa. Before his friends die, he informs them that an important diplomat will die at a concert at London's Albert Hall. Foreign agents take his daughter hostage to prevent James from revealing what they know. Unable to reach the police, James tries to save his daughter himself. Alfred Hitchcock brought The Man Who Knew Too Much to the big screen in 1934. On the other hand, this 1956 remake has a higher budget and is the same as the first film, except for the plot, character names, and choice of location (Morocco instead of Switzerland).
