Richard Drew is an eccentric violinist living a bachelor's life. One day, he lands from a plane traveling to Washington DC wearing a single red shoe. This catches the attention of the CIA, leading to an investigation. The beautiful tour guide, Maddy Drove, is assigned to follow Drew and ends up falling in love with him. However, Drew remains unaware of why he is being targeted and pursued, leaving Maddy busy with protecting him. Meanwhile, four bodies are discovered in Drew's apartment, and a spiritual man named Morris gets entangled in a complicated situation with his love-hungry wife, Paula, as they try to make music with Drew.
