The Pink Panther
(1963)The Pink Panther 1963
Sir Charles Lytton is both a roguish gentleman and a mysterious and resourceful thief who is wanted by Interpol across Europe. A resourceful thief notorious for stealing precious stones is also of particular interest to inept French police inspector Jacques Clouzot. One day, Litton, Clouseau and the beautiful and attractive Princess Dala, owner of the world's largest Pink Panther apple, meet at the Cortina d'Amprezzo Alpine ski resort. Frankly, Lytton needs not only a stunning diamond, but also a stunning princess. Meanwhile, Interpol suspects Lytton has a secret accomplice, and the best way to reach him is to identify him. Unfortunately, his beautiful wife, whom Clouseau does not understand why he loves him so much, turns out to be that person, and he informs his secret mistress Litton of every move of the police. Intrigue, confusion and comedy in the Alps will culminate at a masquerade ball hosted by Princess Dala, and everyone behaves with decency, leading the audience to a raucous finale.
