The Russians Are Coming the Russians Are Coming 1966

During the Cold War, when the captain of a Russian submarine comes too close to Gloucester Island in Massachusetts in search of America, the submarine runs aground. A team of nine, led by Lieutenant Rozanov, disembarks to search for a motorboat to rescue the submarine and arrives at New York writer Walt Whittaker's summer home in Gloucester, where he spent the weekend with his family. When they realize they are Russian, it is believed to be an invasion. Soon the information leaks out, causing hysteria and paranoia among the inhabitants of a small village.
