True Romance
(1993)True Romance 1993
Newlyweds Christian and Patricia travel from Detroit to Los Angeles with a very interesting date, a lightning-fast romance and a suitcase of drugs after the wedding. They plan to sell this drug there and provide a good future for themselves. The gangsters and the police following them have different thoughts, so the tragic comic events that unfold put the young couple on an incredible adventure. Crazy Romance, which Tarantino wrote and sued for alleged non-compliance after filming, is considered one of the manifestos of the independent wave that emerged in the early 1990s.
