This fun sequel takes place a few months after the end of Vacation Buddies. Newlyweds Marcus and Emily invite their friends to join them on a fully-funded trip to a resort in the Caribbean. Their friends, Ron and Kyla, are also newly married and have a baby. Marcus's main goal is to meet with the owners of the resort in order to secure the construction bid for their hotel in Chicago. However, things take a turn when Kyla's father, Reese, unexpectedly gets released from prison, throwing everything into chaos. Marcus's plans are ruined and the perfect vacation for the friends turns into complete mayhem.
