Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? 1966

George is a professor of history at the University of New England and his wife is Martha, an alcoholic, daughter of the same principal. Martha tells George that she has invited a newlywed couple named Nick and Honey for a drink. While this may seem normal at first, it can be an interesting experience for both couples. The old man was very angry that he had planned this invitation to his uninvited wife, and would not provoke him at all costs so as not to embarrass her. When the young couple arrived, they first talked about the daily work of getting to know each other. But as the night falls and tensions escalate, a cleansing session begins where both couples will reveal all their secrets.
