Crossing Lines
(2013)Globalization has opened up numerous opportunities for countries worldwide, breaking down barriers and fostering seamless trade, travel, and cultural exchange. However, amidst this interconnectedness, there has emerged a disconcerting issue - a breeding ground for criminals who exploit the system and jeopardize global security. As Europe has transformed into a sanctuary for law-evading perpetrators, it has become imperative to establish a specialized law enforcement unit capable of effectively combatting international crimes.
"Crossing Lines" delves into the narrative of such a team, an eclectic mix of five international law enforcement agents under the leadership of Captain Daniel. Each member possesses distinct backgrounds and characteristics, forging a diverse group that must learn to coexist and operate within the harshest and potentially life-threatening conditions. Their base of operations resides in an abandoned storage section beneath the International Criminal Court (ICC), symbolizing their unconventional nature.
Accompanying their pursuit of justice are a myriad of obstacles, ranging from bureaucratic red tape to jurisdictional disputes and clashes of cultures. These challenges become all too familiar as the team traverses continents, relentlessly pursuing criminals and striving to preserve the integrity of the global order.
